February 19, 2010"During 2010, The Year of Recovery, my ambition for Inexcess Television is to develop our content and relationships with the mutual aid organisations, and to help promote a wider understanding of the 12-step program as a tool for recovery.
On a personal level I intend to read and write more. The books are piling up (a diverse collection from The Origin of Species to Iggy Pop) and I need to dedicate time to finishing the writing I have started. As ever, I'll be sharing what I'm learning."
In order to help make the year of recovery a success, we are seeking your thoughts on what you would change in 2010.
We are looking for your ideas, comments and opinions on all things recovery. These can relate to anything you think could make a positive change to your life, or the lives of others.
Together, we hope to bring together ideas and opinions from across the recovery community, and this is your opportunity to get in on the act!
So, if you would like to join the debate, please submit your comments using the form at the bottom of the page.

August 13, 2010I will work hard to understand why I drink to excess and what my triggers are. I would like to be everything I could possibly be and become a person that my family know, understand and trust

July 11, 2010Having been in recovery for eight years I will keep my recovery on-going and moving. Recovery does not stand still it all about moving forward. We can stop harming ourselves and others…we can stop struggling. We are the lucky ones, we are addicts, and we are in recovery. We have been given the chance to change our lives, and the lives of others.

June 28, 2010I will continue to support others who wish to make abstinence their goal, as well as continuing to work with those who are abstinent, and I commit to maintaining and enhancing my recovery.
